Infocapsules were data storage devices containing decryption codes. Using the codes allowed an individual to decode hidden information in a broadcast. Adana Vermor, an Imperial Economics Advisor, hid data in the Imperial Economic Update segment on Imperial HoloVision. Individuals entrusted with infocapsules could read the information.
