Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, an incident occurred at the abandoned lidium mine Mesa 291 on the planet Bothawui. Alliance to Restore the Republic agent Tay Vanis arranged to meet several new recruits at the facility, but they were tracked by Imperial Security Bureau officer Mar Barezz and a force of stormtroopers. The new recruits had to fight through the stormtroopers to rendezvous with Vanis, reach their ships, and escape.^[1]
