Imperial Security was a security force of the Imperial Remnant. They served as law enforcers on Imperial worlds, filling the void left by the dissolved Imperial Security Bureau under Emperor Palpatine's Galactic Empire.[2] They also served as bodyguards for the Imperial Head of State. In 44 ABY Imperial Security was led by Kthira'shi'ktarloo.[1]

Imperial Security notably helped stop a kidnapping attempt of Head of State Jagged Fel at the Galactic Empire Embassy on Coruscant. Additionally, they stopped an assassination attempt on Jagged Fel and the Solo family while they were dinning at the Pangalactus restaurant. Imperial Security conducted an investigation into both incidents.[1]
