Imperial Garrison Headquarters was the main Imperial facility on Ord Mynock, located in the Ord Mynock Freeport. The garrison was relatively small, manned by three hundred Imperial Army troops with attendant vehicles and supplies to last for several years.
The structure was used in the early days of the Ord Mynock Freeport to house the initial communications team the Galactic Republic sent to the planet. Since then, the Empire modified the facility with several additional levels for barracks, vehicle motor pool, and a landing pad on the roof large enough to accommodate a Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. The base was commanded by Commander Lyal Frel.
