"Imperial City" was a song by the anti-Imperial band Red Shift Limit. "Imperial City" appeared on the compilation album Dangerous Dreams, which was in circulation in the galaxy by the period of time[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[2] The song was banned by the Imperial Board of Culture, as was the case with most of the Red Shift Limit song catalogue, because the band's songs contained a strong anti-Imperial message.[1]

Behind the scenes

"Imperial City" was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a 1993 supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann.[1]
