The Imperial Bureau of Stellar Charts and Surveys was an Imperial government entity. This organization's Alpha Teams and Beta Missions facilitated the navigational mapping and scientific exploration of space.[1] It provided its employees with access to the most advanced equipment available in order to further its goals.[2]
