Imperial Ball/Legends

The Emperor and Mara Jade at a possible occurrence of the Ball.

The Imperial Ball was a grand monthly gathering of all Imperial dignitaries and supporters that was held in the Imperial Center during the New Order. It was presumably held at the Imperial Palace, and Darth Vader and the Emperor themselves attended the ball if they could.
