"IG-88, Where R U?" was a song by the band Boba Fett and the Assassin Droids,[1] who performed in the Core Drive genre.[2] The song, released as a single, was in circulation in the galaxy by the period of time[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[3] The track's title referenced[1] the IG-88 assassin droid model, consisting of four units that operated as bounty hunters during the Galactic Civil War.[4]

Behind the scenes

"IG-88, Where R U?" was mentioned in the 1993 book Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann.[1]
