ID overlay

An ID overlay was a device that broadcast a signal informing other ships that the vessel carrying it was friendly. In 19 ABY, crime lord Crev Bombaasa supplied an ID overlay to the smuggler Talon Karrde so that the Wild Karrde would be able to pass through Bombaasa's territory safely.
