Hunter Of Winds was the father of Child Of Winds. This elder Qom Qae decided that contacting Luke Skywalker for help against the Threateners was too risky, an act that the Eater Of Fire Creepers disagreed with and called Skywalker himself. When Luke finally arrived on Nirauan, Hunter of Winds opposed assisting Skywalker and Mara Jade to reach the Hand of Thrawn.
