Hoylin
Hoylin was a world[3] located in the Hoylin system, a part of the Fei Hu sector in the Slice portion of the Mid Rim.[1] It was situated on the Gamor Run hyperlane, which connected it to the Aikhibba and Beris systems.[2]
The Human spy Rodin Baem was born at Hoylin[3] in 23 BBY,[4] a fact which was noted[3] in 7 ABY[4] by New Republic General Airen Cracken in Wanted by Cracken, a datafile that served as a compilation of reports on various threats to the New Republic.[3]
Behind the scenes
Hoylin was mentioned in the 1993 sourcebook Wanted by Cracken, which was written by Louis J. Prosperi for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Hoylin system, and therefore Hoylin itself, in grid square P-13.[2]

- ↑ 4.0 4.1 Wanted by Cracken is dated to three years after the Battle of Endor. Since The New Essential Chronology dates that conflict to 4 ABY, the placement of the sourcebook therefore translates to 7 ABY. Furthermore, since Wanted by Cracken states that Rodin Baem is age 30, he must have been born in 23 BBY.
