House Calipsa

House Calipsa was a coalition of noble families that ruled the Calipsa Province, which was located in the Tapani sector. House Calipsa was considered the most conservative of the noble houses.

History

During the Mecetti Purge, House Calipsa added eight systems formerly belonging to House Pelagia to their holdings.

Assets

Calipsa generates most of its profits from mining and owns a huge fleet of container ships used to transport raw materials. These ships bristle with enchanced shields and also contain a few lasers for added protection.

Unknown to any other House, Calipsa controls a little-known gas giant called Coorimbus IV. The system is so remote there isn't even an established hyperspace route to it, requiring a series of delicate microjumps instead. The planet produces Corusca gems, which are smuggled out of the sector by House Calipsa and sold for huge profits.
