This was a two way HoloNet transceiver implant and a mind-control device duplicating the effects of Nihil smokestone, allowing Imperials to eavesdrop on and transmit Triclops's thoughts to Imperial probe droids while sleeping.[1] The New Republic had Triclops plant misinformation to the Imperials and learned that rare Macaab mushrooms from Arzid could destroy the implant without damaging Triclop's mind; however the operation was never performed.[2]
