High-frequency transmitter

A high-frequency transmitter was a communications device fitted to probe droids at the behest of Emperor Palpatine. High-frequency transmitters allowed probe droids to instantaneously transmit their findings back to the Galactic Empire to prevent any delay in information acquired by the droid.
