Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A hidden droid factory had been built on Tatooine by the Galactic Empire at some point after the Battle of Yavin. In that facility, the Empire designed and built a new series of assassin droid. An agent of the Rebel Alliance was tasked with locating that hidden factory and reprogramming the assassin droids into harmless ones.
