Heggel was a Human male who served in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.[1] Shortly after the Battle of Yavin,[2] Heggel held the rank of Admiral[1] and was assigned to command the Trax Sector Group.[2] Concerned about Alliance to Restore the Republic activity throughout the Trax sector, Heggel confronted Commander Resner about what he was doing to combat it.[1]
