A heavy weapons detail was the term given to a small Imperial Army formation, usually a three-man detachment armed with a medium repeating blaster. They were used to augment Army squads and add firepower to the formation. Heavy weapons details were defined by the weapon they carried, either a medium repeating blaster, or a heavy repeating blaster.
