The heavy recovery vehicle was a tracked vehicle used by the Galactic Empire.
Characteristics
The vehicle was used to recover disabled or damaged tanks on the battlefield. It was armed with at least one laser cannon for protection.
History
At least one recovery vehicle of this type was attached to the 112th Repulsorlift Armor Regiment, "Hell's Hammers". Here, it worked in conjunction with repulsorlift barges to reclaim disabled assets and move them to relatively secure locations.
