Harthan

Counselor Harthan was a Tionese male diplomat of the Tion Hegemony who once owned C-3PO and R2-D2.

Biography

Around 5.5 BBY he was called in to negotiate an end to the Troob-Hobor hostilities on Tahlboor. The effort was nearly ruined due to his sabacc addiction, avoidance of droids, and the efforts of his son, Jake, to cause a genocidal war so that the Hegemony could take possession of the sky cannon. With the help of C-3PO and R2-D2, he discovered his son's treachery; yet the two species discovered peace through Mount Yeroc requesting that Harthan ask the Hegemony to leave them to their own devices.
