The HN-TR Assassin/Combat Droid Prototype was a model of assassin droid. The manufacturer of the prototype was unknown and it was believed that the only surviving model, HN-TR1, killed the design team upon activation and then destroyed the schematics to ensure HN-TR1 would be the only model of the droid in existence.
