Great Northern Forest

The Great Northern Forest was a large forest on Myrkr inhabited by vornskrs and ysalamiri. It was also the site of Talon Karrde's base of operations. Hyllyard City was located near the forest.

History

A Vornskr attacks Luke Skywalker in the forest.

During Thrawn campaign, Luke Skywalker was captured by Talon Karrde and his smugglers. He was sent to Karrde's base on Myrkr but eventually escaped the base in a Skipray Blastboat. He was pursued by Mara Jade in the Great Northern Forest. After the crash of their Skipray, the Jedi was captured by Mara Jade. They latter tried to go out the forest but both were captured by Grand Admiral Thrawn's forces. They were conducted to Hyllyard City where they were rescued by Lando Calrissian and Karrde's smugglers.
