A Geelan served as the Great Geel, or leader, of the Geelan species sometime after the event known as the Vanishing. The Great Geel made occasional visits to the space station known as Zirtran's Anchor. Whenever he did so, he was accompanied by servants and a chief bodyguard named Tiny.[1]
