Graaa'shad

Graaa'shad was a fire spirit in Wookiee legend who was said to had lived deep in the lowest levels of Kashyyyk's forests. Myth spoke of this being attempting to capture the Wookiee warrior Urothko wherupon the spirit intended to kill him. However, the elder Stalpaac intervened when he shot the fire spirit with a bowcaster quarrel. Afterwards, the two Wookiees attacked. Graaa'shad fled but claimed that it would get its revenge one day.

Afterwards, Urothko pledged his life to Stalpac for him risking his life to save him. The basis of this story eventually spread to the other villages and was said to had led to the creation of the Life debt tradition amongst the Wookiees.
