The Glite-Ven hostilities were a conflict fought in the Glite-Ven system.[2][3] By the year 2 ABY,[1] the crime lord Ploovo Two-For-One had acquired the modified EV-series supervisor droid EV-4D9 during the hostilities.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Glite-Ven hostilities were first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 Star Wars Legends supplement written by Bill Smith for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 Alliance Intelligence Reports, which mentions the Glite-Ven hostilities, represents a collection of in-universe reports from "one year before the Battle of Hoth." Since The New Essential Chronology dates the latter conflict to 3 ABY, it can be deduced that the Glite-Ven hostilities took place by 2 ABY.

The Essential Atlas and Galactic Cartography: Official Discussion on the Jedi Council Forums (Literature board; posted by jasonfry on December 11, 2007, 7:59am; accessed March 6, 2016): "I wouldn't get your hopes up re alien homeworlds, beyond simple stuff like the Planetnamian species getting a Planetnamia on the map or things Dan and I can account for with a relatively quick reference." (backup link) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Glite-Ven hostilities in relation to the Glite-Ven system.
