Gegren Throsen was an Imperial Moff who governed the planet Salliche during the Galactic Civil War taking over the operation of Salliche Agricultural Corporation and the planet's parliament.[1] Following the Battle of Endor, Throsen arranged for many major officers and bureaucrats to be replaced by his own staff, and ordered stormtroopers to take over from corporate troops. He also sent the equivalent of a garrison and two Star Destroyers to each of the eighteen systems under Sallice Ag's control.[2] The populace resisted his rule by harassing Imperial activity on Salliche and surrounding star systems.[1]
