A fusion generator supply tank was a device for power generation and storage. Using standard fusion technology, it generally provided starships with energy for hyperspace travel.
History
It was often used on harsh worlds like Tatooine. The Lars family had a number of these at their homestead. The Empire also had various generators installed at many of their facilities to provide energy for the Imperial Starfleet to allow their vessels the ability to do sub-light and hyperspace jumps.
