Furious was an Imperial EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate that saw service during the Galactic Civil War. The Furious was on patrol in Corporate Sector under orders to search any ships it encountered when it arrived at Stars' End prison and interrupted a Rebel raid to recover two escaped pilots who had stowed away on the BFF-1 bulk freighter Hampton.
The Furious launched TIE/LN starfighters along with stormtrooper transports to recapture the freighter but Rebel Y-wings were able to hold off the Imperial forces long enough for their shuttle to complete the boarding operation. The Furious itself was unable to prevent the Rebels fleeing into hyperspace.
