The Free-Trader's Responsibilities and Liabilities Agreement was a contract between the Klatooinian Trade Guild and the independent free-traders and smugglers it employed. The scandoc was several hundred pages long and laid out the agreement between the two parties. The fine print hid more nefarious terms between the Guild and the shippers, such as paying the Guild a high percentage of their profits and the requirement to buy their own ship from the Guild.
