A Floppy Helix Intensifier was a device that weakened the strength of a tractor beam but produced a flat, winding arc a thousand times longer than the original beam. The Novaldex G47 Tractor Beam Generator used to keep Cloud City afloat were modified with Floppy Helix Intensifiers.
