"Flameout" was a song written and performed by the band Red Shift Limit and featured on the band's compilation album Thoughts from the Core. The album was available in the galaxy by the time[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[2] Due to Red Shift Limit's anti-Imperial stance, the song was banned by the Imperial Board of Culture.[1]

Behind the scenes

"Flameout" was mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann and published in 1993.[1]
