F-23-DKMx, also known simply as F-23, was a masculine[2] F series repair droid[1] with blue photoreceptors and silver plating, with a blue trim.[2] By the year 4.3 ABY,[3] he was employed by the Star Tours travel agency at their Tomorrowland Starport. Along with F-24-AMTx, F-23 performed the final assembly of StarSpeeder 3000 and serviced their ion engines.[4] He did not mind having to work overtime as the extra credits helped pay for his expensive tuition at the University of the Universe.[2]

F-23-DKMx was created for Tokyo Disneyland's simulator ride theme park attraction Star Tours, which opened on July 12, 1989.[2]
