Engine maintenance droids were large, droids equipped with grasping mandibles, industrial lasers, and vibroblades. One was assigned to the Galactic Empire's mobile mining operation on the planet Alabash under the command of Control, a Terreene Brainiac class artificial intelligence.[1]
