An electro photo receptor (EPR) was the simplest kind of sensor. It integrated information from normal light, ultraviolet, and infrared telescopes to create a composite hologram or two-dimensional image. The electro photo receptor was useful only at comparatively short ranges and was often used in targeting sensors.[1] Industrial Automaton's R2-series astromech droids were fitted with electro photo receptors.[2] Some electro photo receptors, such as the ones in the primary sensor array aboard Incom Corporation's T-65 X-wing starfighter, were manufactured by Tana Ire.[1]
