Ecile Vergesso

Doctor Ecile Vergesso was a female Corellian scientist. Approximately 150 years before the Battle of Yavin, Vergesso explored an asteroid field in the Lybeya system. In addition, she established a research station on the largest asteroid where she worked until 3 ABY. After her departure, pirates overran the facility. She later became the namesake of the asteroid field in which she explored when it was officially named the Vergesso Asteroids.
