- "Echo Station 3-T-8. We have spotted Imperial walkers."
- ―Trey Callum
Echo Station 3-T-8 was a Rebel Alliance scout post outside Echo Base on the planet Hoth. Rebel soldier Maren Kelsome reported the first sighting of Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport walkers to the station just prior to the onset of the Battle of Hoth.[2] Station officer Trey Callum then relayed the message to the rest of Echo Base.[1][3] The post, which was garrisoned by troopers and and a pair of turrets, was eliminated by the advance Imperial forces.[4]
Behind the scenes
The "Walker Sighting" card from the 1996 Hoth Limited expansion set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game includes Trey Callum's quote from the film warning Echo Base of the AT-ATs' presence. However, the card mistakenly refers to Echo Station 3-T-8 as "Echo station 3TA."
