Duplex circuit

A duplex circuit was a integral component of a deflector shield generator. If removed, it prevented the shields from working. If replaced with a triplex circuit, the diagnostics would register that there was no problem with the shield system. However, when activated, the shields would not raise. This problem could be fixed with a codepatch.
