Dreja Darmic was a mechanic who worked in the commercial spaceports of Coruscant. Around two years before the Battle of Yavin, Darmic was arrested on charges of tax evasion. His daughter, Maranne, believed otherwise, knowing of his sympathy towards the Rebellion.[1]
