Dragon slugs were large, fire-breathing creatures who ate lumni-spice, living on both Hoth[1] and Corulag.[2]

The fungus that created the spice was the slug's favorite meal; this diet often made them grow to 20 meters and develop armor-like skin. They were able to maintain a steady diet of the Fungal spice through fermentation, indirectly farming the very food they would later eat.
