Dodonna's Story is a short story written by Grant S. Boucher, originally published in Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope. It was also included in The Movie Trilogy Sourcebook.

Plot summary

In an excerpt from General Jan Dodonna's personal memoirs, the general discusses the night before the Battle of Yavin and his attempts to formulate a plan to fight the Death Star. He analyzes the station's plans all night before discovering its unprotected exhaust port.
