Darvon Jewett

Darvon Jewett was the governor of the Boeus sector in the Expansion Region during the Galactic Civil War. Following the death of Emperor Palpatine at the Battle of Endor, the Imperial Military withdrew from the sector,[1] retreating to Coruscant.[3] Jewett turned to the New Republic for support, and managed to retain the services of several capital ships when their crew mutinied on learning about Palpatine's demise. Jewett managed to keep trade and communications lines open between the star systems in the sector, maintaining services and economical ties.[1] Jewett's support helped the New Republic to spread its influence throughout the Expansion Region.[2]
