The Cupric Islands was a region on the planet Sriluur that was home to large portions of that world's agricultural sector. It was believed that the Islands' fertility was derived from the pheromones of the aro'ruul, which could aid plant growth.[1]
During the Houk–Weequay conflicts, the Islands were attacked by Houk forces, which caused toxins to poison much of the Islands' soil. During the Imperial Period, the Galactic Empire declared martial law on the Islands.[1]
