Corellian Chemical Corporation, alternatively referred to as Corellia Chemical Corporation or CorChemCo, was a subsidiary company of Chiewab Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals Company. They were a producer of industrial chemicals based in the Corellian sector.

History

During the Battle of Corellia that occurred in 3640 BBY,[2] the CorChemCo factory located in the Labor Valley of Corellia took heavy damage and was going to explode. Fortunately, Republic forces were able to shut down the chemical refining equipment and avoid hundreds of civilian casualties.[3]

In 1 ABY, the criminal Black Sun organization set up a remote base on Corellia from which they planned to steal the company's stocks of the poisonous chronamite mineral. As the company knew from past experiences that local security was heavily infiltrated with Black Sun spies, they decided to hire an independent strike team to ambush and destroy the Black Sun base, while relocating their chronamite supplies to a better guarded location.[4]
