Core Tunnel

The Core Tunnel was a brightly illuminated tunnel adjoining the carbon freezing chamber on Cloud City. Luke Skywalker traversed the tunnel in his pursuit of Darth Vader following their initial duel within the carbon feezing chamber. He was prevented from reentering the tunnel by a fast-closing blast door most likely controlled by Captain Bewil who had recently gained control of Cloud City's lift tubes and hatchways.
