The Compound Flex-5 Detonite Tape was a plastic adhesive explosive manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. The tape was embedded with detonite and produced in five-meter rolls. It was a stabled explosive which required either intense heat or an electrical charge to detonate. Flexible and adhesive, Compound Flex-5 Detonite Tape could be applied in various shapes, allowing for precise explosions such as blowing hatches and hull-plates.[1]
