Clanson was a member of Alliance Intelligence. Major Sisquoc, a scout and fellow Intelligence officer, requested that Clanson and any other willing operative to accompany him and other members of his team when they planned to confront Barosa Warren, who had been targeting former pupils of his who had joined the Rebel Alliance, at the Secure Passage seminar on Dlor 3.
