Choupek was a self-styled warlord who ruled a significant portion of the Coruscant underworld. He was guarded by at least six armed beings.

Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Chewbacca, and their droid companions hotwired and stole Choupek's landspeeder during their search for the Columi Phelon.
