The Chekkoo clan was a Rodian clan on the planet Rodia. It controlled most of the Betu continent, allowing a number of minor clans—such as the Adebsu and Intamm—to habitat portions of it in exchange for their loyalty.

The Chekkoo clan was a major opponent to the Chattza Clan led by Navik the Red, Grand Protector of Rodia. It kept this opposition indirect though, staying within its own territory and avoiding direct confrontation.
