Charon venom

Charon venom was a form of poison that coated the claws of individual Charon. The poison attacked a victim's central nervous system, progressively destroying the nerve cells. Victims were assailed with pain and hallucinations as they slowly died. Captain Alain Gryphon, commander of the Alliance to Restore the Republic transport Celestial, succumbed to the poison.
