Champion Five was a pilot from Champion Squadron who flew a Y-wing.

Prior to the liberation of Coruscant, Champion Five was patrolling the Pyria system with Champion Six and Rogue Nine when they challenged a freight cruiser entering the system. The cruiser turned out to be part of Warlord Zsinj's forces.

After a short dogfight, the cruiser retreated, leaving its entire complement of four TIE fighters and two TIE bombers to be killed or captured.
