Chahis was a Serp warrior from the planet Serphidi in the Belial system. He worked in service to the planet's monarch King S'Shah. In 3 ABY, Chahis and several other warriors noticed the ruins of a downed Rebel T-65 X-wing starfighter on a mountain butte. Following the wreckage, Chahis and his fellows attacked a squad of Rebels as they disembarked their fighters, killing a pilot named Berl and taking Captain Cinda Tarheel captive back to S'Shah.[1]

Chahis appeared in Star Wars (1977) 64, written by David Michelinie and Michael Fleisher, illustrated by Joe Brozowski and released in 1982.[1]
